CANR Student Workshop
Thursday, March 24, 2022, from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Communication is a key component of creating inclusive campus environments.
This workshop is meant to educate and raise awareness about the concept of intercultural communication. The goal is to equip individuals and groups with the tools necessary to hold difficult conversations that lead us to create more just campuses.
Beyond personal differences, culture plays a vital role in how we interact with others and how we perceive others' actions toward us. These differences can often lead to confusion or arguments.
Join us as we break down the barriers to intercultural communication through a presentation and workshop led by Dr. Adam Foley from the Office of Institutional Equity.
